When you are looking for top movies to watch and keep you entertained you should keep an eye out for a movie called Haywire. It’s a great movie choice for anyone that likes excitement and load of action.
Mallory Kane is the main character and her job is to deal with all the stuff that the government can’t have any hand in or those leaders would rather not see. When she’s sent to the city of Dublin on a mission, things go off track and she finds out that she’s been double crossed by someone that she should have been able to trust. The only thing is, she’s not sure who! She’s going to have to put all her skills to use and utilize every resource at hand. This is an exciting movie that many people will have on their top 10 movies lists!h

Coriolanus
The top movies of the year are always a hit with people that love watching movies in the comfort of their own home or those who love the theatres. One of the movies that people have been raving about is Coriolanus, a movie about a Roman hero. He was a soldier with a lot of confidence and a voice he was not afraid to use. He pissed off a lot of people but he stood up for what he believed in. But when Rome became a dangerous place to live and the streets were filled with bloodshed and his mother, Volumina, was expelled from their country, Coriolanus goes to extreme measures. He submits to the enemy and then later, he has to decide between him and his mother. This is one of the best movies for anyone that likes a little history with their action movies.

Contraband
One of the top 10 movies of the year should definitely be the movie Contraband, starring Mark Wahlberg. Walberg seems to really be doing some great stuff lately and this movie is no different. Contraband is about a man that was once a drug smuggler but has left that world behind in order to protect his family and keep them safe. Unfortunately, his brother is still involved in that world and he’s gotten himself into a bit of trouble with some debt and his life is now in danger. The only way that his brother will be saved is if Walberg’s character step in and does one more deal to settle the debt that is owed. Things never goes as they are originally planned though do they? This is one of the best movies for anyone that is looking for a great movie to watch this weekend.

We Bought a Zoo
One of the movies that is sure to be on any Top 10 Movies List in the family genre is We Bought a Zoo. Matt Damon has been known for doing action movies and comedy movies but this time he steps out of his comfort zone to play the part of Benjamin Mee, a dad with a troubled teenage son, an adorable young daughter, and a wife that has passed on. He’s uninspired by his journalist job and he just wants to spend more time with his kids and escape from all the city drama. And that is how he ends up buying a falling apart zoo with exotic animals that needs a lot of TLC. The movie is filled with interesting characters and is based on a true story and the animals will charm you. This is one of the best movies to watch as a family.

Underworld: Awakening
One of the top movies of the past year for anyone that loves thrills is Underworld: Awakening, the forth movie in the Underworld series. Selene is back and she’s pretty upset to find out that during her 12 year nap, the humans have gone on a rampage and killed off almost everyone of the underworld -- vampires and werewolves both. The humans are keeping up and surpassing them and they are out to kill off whatever vampires and werewolves are left. But there’s a young girl named Eve that has a lot of power and could save them all. Unfortunately, it is not just the humans that fear her power and want her gone and Selene is assigned the task of protecting her. You’re sure to consider this one of the top movies of the year!

The Sitter
Sometimes the best movies are the ones that make you laugh and that is exactly why you should check out The Sitter. Jonah Hill -- up and coming funny man -- plays Noah, a college student that lives with his mom. He’s on the verge of being suspended though and he needs to make some cash so he decides to take on the easiest job he can think of -- babysitting. Well,he really doesn’t know what he’s in for. The kids are a little odd to say the least. Slater is a sexually confused boy, Blithe is just a wild child, and Rodrigo, a foreign exchange student is a pyromaniac. Sounds like trouble already doesn’t it? But it gets worse as the foursome embark on an adventure that will have you laughing all night long. This is one of the top movies that is sure to entertain you.

Kinyarwanda
One movie that is sure to show up on many top 10 movies lists this year is Kinyarwanda. This is a dramatic story with several sub-plots that will keep your eyes on the screen and wondering what will happen next. The many characters are well portrayed. You’ll be touched by the love that develops between the young Tutsi woman and the Hutu man who develop a relationship amidst lots on conflict. You’ll feel for the young soldier as she struggles while being far away from her family and tries to keep her mind on doing what is right and dealing with the concept of the greater good. And you’ll be in suspense as the priest must deal with horrific situations that cause him to question his faith. This is one of the top movies of the year and when you watch it you’ll understand why.

The Darkest Hour
One of the top movies of the year is The Darkest Hour. This is another movie that follows the popular theme of alien invasion but it takes place in Moscow, Russia where five youth find themselves struggling to survive. The alien attack focuses on the power systems and they are desperate to find a way to put a stop to it. It’s a 3D movie so the special effects will blow your mind and there are some amazing shots of the beauty of Moscow. This movie is filled with excitement and loads of action scenes so you will be completely spell bound as you see the story unfold. This is one of the best movies to watch when you feel like sitting at home and getting close with someone that you love. You’ll be completely mesmerized.

Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol
The best movies to watch at home are usually the ones that you don’t expect to be awesome and Mission: Impossible -- Ghost Protocol is one of those movies. The previous Mission: Impossible movies got a lot of criticism but this one is the movie to top them all. It is sure to turn up on some top 10 movies lists! Ethan Hunt is back and of course, he is ready to accept another mission. This mission sends him to Russia where he finds himself leading a team to Moscow where they and infiltrate the Kremlin to find the files they are looking for. Of course, things never go exactly as planned and someone sets off a bomb that endangers the Kremlin. Russian leaders are not overly thrilled about that and an undeclared war ensues.

50/50
This year has seen a lot of great movies being produced and the best movies can be downloaded online so that you can enjoy them at home. One movie that will make a night of watching movies more enjoyable is 50/50. It’s a movie about a kid that finds out he has cancer. He’s a radio station programmer and up until this point his life has been pretty normal. But his friend, played by Seth Rogan (so you know there will be some great comedy) wants to make sure that he takes the time to really get some pleasure out of life. While this movie might come across as being full of college humour there are some great scenes between the friends. See this movie for yourself and find out why I think this is one of the top movies of the year.
